Welcoming new citizens

Alex attended a citizenship ceremony recently to watch his good friends becoming Australian citizens.

After the official business was over.

Pleased to finally get to shake hands.

He sang 'Advance Australia Fair' for two days afterwards.

Shopping Centre Stall Success

Alex's stall at the local Stockland shopping centre was a great success for him. He got to catch up with lots of people who know him, got to show people his art work and, a bonus, sold 11 paintings and over 70 cards.

It was a very busy day in town with a state wide hockey carnival being held.

Colonial Day Stall at Abercrombie House

Alex set off today for his stall at the 'colonial day' at a local historic home.

Weekend trip to the mountains

Alex went down to Wentworth Falls on the weekend for his uncle's birthday and Mother's Day. Alex Auntie & Uncle were staying there and the family gathered at their accommodation for the celebration.

Alex always enjoys catching up with everyone and he got some lovely birthday cards from people who hadn't seen him on his birthday last week.

Friday night concert at the Park Hotel

Alex went to a concert on Friday night to see Claude Hay, Cass Eager and then Chase the Sun.

     


Managed to get a poster signed to add to the collection in Alex's room.

He had a pretty good seat!





Alex enjoyed the night so hopefully it'll be the first of many! Especially when there are good people to see there.

Alex's 20th Birthday

Alex has had a lovely birthday. He very much enjoyed playing his new clapsticks this morning.

Then he had a happy night at the Church Bar with pizza and good company.

Autumn Lunch...Life is hard.

Alex went out for lunch today in the beautiful autumn weather.

He got stuck into his pizza, which was the cause of some celebration!!

The Inland Sea of Sound

Alex spent Sunday afternoon enjoying the music at the Inland Sound Festival event at the park in Bathurst. The didjeridoo is always a favourite, just behind the sound of the clap sticks.

Alex was tired after a long day, a swim, a spa, a haircut but still managed a song or two.
