Anyone who knows Alex knows his dietary choices are... well... narrow, to say the least!!
Recently, he's been a little more adventurous ('little' being the operative word!) and has added a few things to his small repertoire of foods.
Like hot chips...at home, at least.
And toasted cheese sandwiches... eaten out!!
Even orange juice at least once a day.
But when he went into hospital recently for a dental exam and X-Rays, it was custard all the way!
The 'up' side to Alex's narrow diet was revealed when the dental surgeon said he must have a very good diet, because there was no sign of decay on any of his teeth!!
The more comfortable Alex feels with new foods and new venues, the more he can enjoy being out and about in a range of different places, so these are great developments for him.
Alex has been working on making stamps for an order of Christmas cards. Here is a selection of his card designs. He'll probably start taking orders once this consignment is completed, around September. We'll post more designs as they are done.
If you are interested in going on a mailing list to be notified when his cards are available to order, please send your email address to: stroevey@y7mail.com
Alex has held two more market stalls this past month, one at the university Market Day...
...and the other at the Lions Fleamarket in town. He's getting the hang of going to work and meeting people while he's there. He's sold more paintings and cards and is having a good time doing it.
Alex has just come back from a trip away up the coast to North Haven. He's had the chance to swim at the beach, something he really enjoys, and has enjoyed the company of some good family friends (his other family) while there.
